Eins von 75 Exemplaren auf »BFK Rives« (Gesamtauflage 145, davon 30 »hors commerce« und 40 mit Suite). – Der Druckvermerk nummeriert und vom Künstler halbseitengroß signiert. – Die Texte von Miró zu seinem künstlerischen Schaffen erschienen, herausgegeben von Yvan Taillandier, bereits 1959 in der Revue »XXe siècle«, allerdings ohne Illustrationen. Nun edierte Taillandier sie nochmals mit ausführlicher Einleitung, opulent gesetzt, in die »luftigen« Oberhälften der Textseiten wurden kleine Punkte in Mirós Grundfarben lithographiert. – 32 Exemplare der Edition versah Joan Miró jeweils mit einem Widmungsaquarell für Freunde (siehe KatNr. 313). – Insgesamt sehr schön erhalten.

Includes nine color lithographs by Joan Miró, seven of which are full-sheet size within the text, one on the front cover, and one double-sheet size used as the cases covering paper. Loose double sheets in original wrapper and slipcase.

One of 75 copies on “BFK Rives” (total edition of 145, including 30 “hors commerce” and 40 with a suite). – The colophon is numbered and signed by the artist in a half-page signature. – Miró’s texts on his artistic work, edited by Yvan Taillandier, were first published in 1959 in the journal »XXe siècle«, though without illustrations. Taillandier has now reissued them with a detailed introduction, opulently typeset; small dots in Miró’s primary colors were lithographed into the “airy” upper halves of the text pages. – Joan Miró provided 32 copies of the edition with a watercolor dedication for friends (see Lot 313). – Overall, in very nice condition.
