One of 130 copies (total print run of 165). – Signed by Braque on the page bearing the copy number. – The texts were selected from »Le Zen dans l’art chevaleresque du tir à l’arc« by D. T. Suzuki and E. Herrigel (1955) as well as from aphorisms and reflections by Georges Braque from his »Cahiers 1917–1952«. – Printed in a charming small format on Moulin d’Ambert chiffon vellum in red and black. – The 2 woodcuts were printed twice: once on brown rag paper as an insert in the case, and once more on the front cover of the silk case and the spine of the slipcase. – Very rare.
Spine of chemise slightly faded. – The lithographed cover has a few small foxing spots.
