Mit seinem Freund Antoni Tàpies schuf er mehrere »livres d’artistes«. Dessen großzügige Radierungen mit wirkungsvoll angewandtem Prägedruck kontrastieren zu der schlicht-eleganten Typographie des Textes.

One of 99 copies (total print run of 138). – Signed by the artist and author in the colophon. – On heavy Guarro paper. – Pere Gimferrer (born 1945), described as the »heir to a hermetic expressionist symbolism« (Dolores Oller), has not only made a name for himself as a Catalan poet but has also emerged as a prominent Spanish translator and critic of art, literature, and film. Together with his friend Antoni Tàpies, he created several “livres d’artistes.” Tàpies’s expansive etchings, featuring effectively applied embossing, contrast with the simple, elegant typography of the text.
